I Heart You for PPA 284

It doesn't get much heartier than this!  Today's card was inspired by the Pals Paper Arts challenge.  Here is the banner that got me started...

I didn't see a valentine in this sketch at first.  Then after I pulled out my Love Blossoms Designer Series Paper Stack, the ideas started falling into place.

I chose Rose Red for my base color and Blushing Bride for the circle, pulling the colors from the DSP.  I embossed another piece of Rose Red cardstock cut slightly smaller than the base with the Happy Hearts Embossing Folder.  The large red heart is from the Sweetheart Punch and the tiny hearts are from the Hearts Border Punch.  I stamped the sentiment from the And Many More stamp set in black and cut it into a little banner.  A Blushing Bride button and some Baker's Twine finish it off.

Very simple ~ easy to duplicate!  One more photo to show you that I elevated the large heart with double Dimensionals.  It lifts it up a little higher to make a bigger impact.  Visit to see all of the entries for some great inspiration - and join us by playing along!  Give it a try ~ it is fun to see what you can create by following a basic sketch.

  1. Perfect sentiment for this heart-filled card! Thanks for playing!

  2. I {heart} all of your hearts! You did such a great job of spacing the small hearts around the circle - so even and precise! Well done! Thanks for playing along with Pals Paper Arts this week! We hope to see you again soon :)

  3. I "heart you" right back! Fun card and the embossing folder makes the card POP!!! Way to go!

  4. I HEART your <3's. Your card is so different and the hearts around the circle remind me of a dial phone. Love it! Thank you for playing along with my design sketch with the Pals Paper Arts sketch challenge.
