Thoughtful Branches is an Apple Tree

Do you love making little "scenes" with your stamping and crafting supplies?  If you do, you need this new bundle, available on August 2nd.

Here is another idea for you, using Thoughtful Branches.  This time I've made an apple tree.  My inspiration came from the awesome Designer Series Paper called Fruit Stand.  One of the sheets has these apples all over it in a variety of greens.  I layered a 1 7/8" x 5 3/8" strip of it over Cucumber Crush then mounted that to a base card of Daffodil Delight.

A 3 5/8" circle of Whisper White was transformed into an outdoor scene by first stamping the ground stamp from Thoughtful Branches in Pear Pizzazz, then sponging Soft Sky over the lines and Pear Pizzazz below the lines.

The trunk was cropped from the coordinating Thinlits Dies after I textured a piece of Soft Suede with the Woodgrain Embossing Folder.  The leaves are the same thinlit die that I previously used to make hydrangeas.  They are in Cucumber Crush.

The Thinlits Dies also have a cute little apple framelit and I cropped 6 from a scrap of Daffodil Delight.  Before mounting them on the tree and ground I sponged a little Pear Pizzazz and Cucumber Crush on each.

Thank You is stamped in Soft Suede.  It is also the color for the sentiment on the inside.  A 3/4" strip of the apple paper decorates the inside.

Just. So. Fun.  Have I convinced you?  You have just one more week to wait.  More sneak peeks tomorrow with many more ideas in the next few days.

Now go, and have fun stamping!
