Christmas Tags for a Swap

Silly me! I did not sign up for the Pals Blog Hop this month because I didn't think I would have time to create something new due to the fact that I was flying to Atlanta for the Stampin' Up! events this past weekend. After looking through the Blog Hop yesterday (click HERE to view), I realized that I had already made "Anything But a Card" for our 3-D Swap at Brian and Pam's World Card Making Day event!  It would have been the perfect opportunity for a 2-in-1. Ah well, too late for the Hop, but not too late to post pictures here.

Our task was to make a Holiday 3-D project, which we would swap with another person in the room. I decided to make a box of Christmas tags. And I couldn't think of better paper to do it with than this adorable Candy Cane Lane Designer Series Paper.  I also used the Candy Cane Christmas stamp set, Candy Cane Lane Baker's Twine, Candy Cane Lane Washi Tape, some Red Glimmer Paper, the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch, and various punches and framelits that will be posted below.

If you are interested in getting the directions to make this little box, sign up for my free monthly newsletter by clicking on the Contact Me button above.  Indicate that you would like to receive my newsletter and I will add you to my list.  I will include the instructions in my December letter.

I had so much fun designing and decorating these tags! The little gingerbread man that is peeking out from behind the circle is part of the Designer Series Paper.  I snipped him out with my Paper Snips.

This is what I got in return...2 cute pad and pencil holders on an easel fold stand.  She even put the DSP inside the pens! Super cute! She didn't leave her name on her project, so I don't know who to give credit to, but if you are reading this, thank you! I love this project!

Here I am at the Swap. There were so many amazing creations! After we traded with someone we put them all out on a table display for all to see. It was fun to see what people came up with. Such amazing work! One of my favorites was made by my new friend and fellow Pal, Joanna Latham. Look at this candy train she made! Incredible!

Thanks for stopping by. Have some fun stamping today!
