An Anniversary Card for my "Kids"

On Saturday, my son and daughter-in-law celebrated their 5th Anniversary! I'm so proud of them and all of their accomplishments in these past 5 years. They got married in a beautiful old Western hotel in Tucson, AZ, moved to Sacramento, had two babies, bought a house, then each completed their PhD's in History. Needless to say, we are very proud!

I made this card for them. Mary Fish provided the inspiration for the design. She also provided the tool - the Leaf Punch - as a gift for attending OnStage in Salt Lake City two week ago. So thank you, Mary, for both the idea and the means!

I used Copper Foil for the layer underneath the Wood Textures DSP. I found out that the 5th Anniversary is the "Wood" anniversary, so I had to use the whitewashed barn wood piece.  The wreath has Gold, Silver, and Copper Foil Sheets and Gold Glimmer Paper, punched with the Leaf Punch, and carefully glued around in a circle to build the wreath.

Copper Wire Trim and copper embossing powder on the sentiment from Beautiful Bouquet complete the look.

For the envelope, I kept it pretty simple with a bit of embellishment by running the flap through the Big Shot with the Petal Burst embossing folder.
