Bold Butterfly Birthday Card with a $$ Pocket!

Need a card that you can slip some $$ or a gift card into? This is an easy layout and perfect for that need. Instructions below.

I used the Petal Passion DSP with Island Indigo cardstock and adhered three Bold Butterflies that were backed with Vellum. I want to thank Mary Fish for reminding me about these butterflies! I haven't had them out since...well, maybe last Spring! 

The sentiment and banner come from the Birthday Banners set and I cropped it out with a die from Bunch of Banners Framelits Dies.

I inked up the inside sentiment from Beautiful You and stamped a small butterfly from a retired set.

You can use this layout for many occasions simply by changing the paper and embellishments. In fact I have used it several times! Here is another birthday one...

Measurements and cuts:

• Colored Cardstock 4-1/4" x 11", scored at 2" and 5-1/2"
• DSP 3-1/4" x 4 for front, and (2) 1-3/4" x 4" 
• Whisper White Cardstock 3-1/4" x 4"

Fold the 2" side to the inside, punch a finger notch on one side with a 1" Circle Punch, and adhere with two strips of Tear & Tape or Fast Fuse. That's all there is to it!

Fast Fuse Refills are still available at regular retail price while supplies last.
