Oh So Eclectic Birthday Card

There is something so rich about the color combination in this Specialty Designer Series Paper called Painted With Love. The gold foil accents with Rich Razzleberry, Melon Mambo, and Calypso Coral are stunningly beautiful! The pictures do not do it justice, as the gold doesn't really photograph well, but here is the collection of designs that you get in this pack ~

And yes, they tend to be a bit busy, but used sparingly or strategically, they give a real pop of wow! 

In this card, I used the DSP as a background piece behind the Eclectic Layers Thinlits Dies. Just enough of it peeks through the lattice pattern to show off the colors and the shiny gold. I used it with Powder Pink, Rich Razzleberry, and Whisper White. The leaves are Gold Foil and the ribbon is actually Fresh Fig, but is quite a close match to the Razzleberry.

I added even more bling with some pink sequins in the center of the flower, glued down with my Fine-Tip Glue Pen.

Inside is one of my favorite birthday messages from Birthday Blooms, stamped with Rich Razzleberry. An Oh, So Eclectic flower stamp in Powder Pink gives just the right touch of design and ties in with the front of the card.

I had the right sized piece of DSP left over to glue to the back flap of a Whisper White Medium Envelope. Don't overlook the Stampin' Up! Envelopes. Not only do they match the colors of our white and vanilla cardstock perfectly, but they are an exceptional quality of paper. They can be found on page 195 of the Annual Catalog.
