Using DSP to Wrap Gifts

Last Friday I showed you some tags that I made with the Merriest Wishes stamp set and Merry Tags Thinlits Dies (both on sale right now).  If you missed that post, click HERE to see it.

Today I'm going to show you how I used This Christmas DSP to wrap some of my smaller gifts and incorporate those tags into my design.  Love how Stampin' Up! coordinates their products.  It makes it so easy to build beautiful collections!

This Christmas DSP is lighter weight than most of our other papers, which makes it ideal for wrapping.  There are also twice as many sheets in one package, which is a bonus as well!

I'm guessing many of you are like me -- you have rolls and rolls of old ribbon laying around - or perhaps neatly organized in your crafting space ;-)  The colors are still the same and coordinate beautifully with the newer papers.  It is the perfect way to use up some of your stash!

Do you see what I did on this last one?  I wanted green ribbon, but didn't have any.  Out came the Washi Tape and it is another perfect match with the Garden Green in the paper. I kind of love my fake ribbon!

Have fun with your supplies.  I usually have bunches of Holiday paper, ribbons etc. left over after Christmas.  This seems like the perfect way to utilize those supplies and make room for new products from the Occasions Catalog coming out in January.

Hopefully I've given you some ideas to play with today.  Have a great weekend.  See you back on Monday!

Karen
